          Interested in Tutoring?

I would like to invite `people to get involved in the Woodhill Tutoring program.  We serve 1st. through 5th. grade students from Breckinridge Elementary School. on Mon. – Thursday. from 2:45 – 4:30.  We ask volunteers to choose ONE of these days and hopefully they will tutor the same one to two  students all through the year.  This allows the tutor to build a good relationship with the student and the parent (or other adult) who picks up the student. A very good working relationship is established with the school social worker and teachers who refer the student and they are grateful for this kind of support. If you are interested call Kathie Beach at 299-4227 or send an email to for more information.
 Ministry opportunities that need you
1) How about being a “grace bearer”. This means that once a month you take communion to one of our home bound members. The sacraments and liturgy sheets are provided.
2) How about participating in the flower ministry? If 4 people volunteer, this would also be once per month with at least one person taking the lead.
3) How about being part of a team that straightens the sanctuary each week?
These are a few of our immediate needs at Andover. If you are interested in any of these, even if you want to just try for awhile, please contact Vicki Lanham – or 608-0563.
