Reminder: For those that selected names from the Angel Tree, the gifts are due this Sunday, Dec 13th. Place the gifts at the tree in the back of the sanctuary and put a check by your name in the book that you have brought the gift. Thanks so very much!

Building Project Informational Session
This Sunday is the last Sunday we will be hosting an informational session during the Sunday School hour in the Sanctuary. The purpose is to get your feedback on the initial building concept and make sure we are all informed about the project. Please join us.
Poinsettia Orders
We invite you to participate in decorating the Sanctuary for Advent and Christmas by purchasing a poinsettia(s) in honor or memory of someone. The cost is $10.00. The ushers will have the envelopes or you can pick one up on the table in the back of the sanctuary. Place completed envelopes in the offering plate or give to Vicki Lanham. Plants may be picked up after the Christmas eve service. Orders are due this Sunday, Dec 13.
The Nativity Pageant
is this Sunday, December 13, during BOTH services. All participants please arrive by 8:30am in the Sanctuary. We look forward to this special performance from our children, youth and adult choir!!
SIS Circle Christmas Party
will be at the home of Catherine Shifflett, 804 Penny Ln, 40509 this Sunday, December 13th at 4:30pm. Dress: casual. What to bring: An appetizer or dessert, and a $10 or less white elephant gift to exchange. Invitation is open to Women of all ages! Hope to see you there.

Healing Prayer Service – Downtown
Chris and Georgia Dunagan, have been called to be part of Jesus’ ongoing ministry of healing emotionally, relationally, spiritually, and physically. The Dunagans will host a healing prayer service on Sunday evening, December 13 at 5:00P.M. in the Slaton Chapel at our Downtown Campus. Everyone is welcome.

Fishers of Men Christmas Dinner & Music
The FOM are hosting a Christmas dinner with musical entertainment again this year. It will be Friday, Dec18 at 6:30. Liz Frodge and Joseph Wrightson will be performing. See Dick Dedic to purchase a ticket. Cost$20 per person. Tickets must be purchased by this Sunday, Dec 13th.

Memory Tree
The beautiful tree at the back of the sanctuary is our Memory Tree. You are encouraged to place an ornament on the tree in memory of someone special. There is also a Memory Book to record the information.

Light in the Darkness
The season leading up to Christmas is a time of great joy, but it can also be a time that we wish would quickly come and go. Recognizing our loss and disappointment at this time of year is vital because we are a people of hope. We will have a time of worship with Communion on Sunday evening December 20th at 6:00PM to do just that. Come and hear the good news that God walks with us through every peak and through each valley.

Altar Flower Poster
The 2016 poster to reserve a Sunday to purchase the flowers for the altar in memory of or in honor of a special person will be available this Sunday.

Hearing Devices are now available for use during our services. They are located in the back of the sanctuary.
